I have the Military channel on and they’re going over the trial of 28 in Japan, post WWII. There was footage of the Japanese leaders (criminals) getting off a train and the voiceover was explaining the charges.
Crimes against peace. Expansionist visions. Crimes against soldiers; guilt being decided on whether a commander knew of these actions and allowed it to go on. The main character was Tojo, who was being portrayed as a Hitler.
It kept appearing to me that most if not all of the charges are equally applicable to the current administration. Crimes against peace. Crimes against soldiers. Expansionist visions.
We should be ashamed. They should be impeached and prosecuted.
Along those lines, three people were arrested last week in the process of issuing a subpoena to Richard (Big Dick) Cheney.

You should read up on materials by Noam Chomsky. He’s been saying exactly that (rather zealously, in fact) since the Vietnam war.

I’ve read some of his stuff. I agree with most of it. Other parts kinda put me off. I try to take useful bits from everyone I can.
Thanks for the recommendation and comments.
