E-Mail:

us cybersecurity chief resigns…

The top cybersecurity official in the United States has resigned, a little more than a year after joining the Department of Homeland Security, the agency said Friday.

Yoran resigned Thursday because he had completed what he set out to do and felt it was time to move on, he said.

He had completed what he set out to do… in one year?   This has to be totally untrue, as he came to the post from Symantec, who can’t get anything right, no less get it right in one year.

Perhaps he took the job to prove what a mess our cybersecurity is.  If this is so, his job was done before he started.  hmmmm….

The article seems to indicate that the position wasn’t given enough power.
