Some wise fellow in Minnesota put his vote up for sale on eBay.

Unfortunately there is a 100 year old state law against selling one’s vote in Minnesota.

The facts, as gleaned from local Fox news:

1. put on eBay starting at $10

2. will vote for anyone on the ballot, as directed by winner
3. eBay billing address is a frat house where the fellow used to rent a room.  Frat says he’s no longer a renter and was never a member.
4. No answer at frat house room or parents’ home.

What really gets me is the fire in the eyes of the prosecutor.  They’re progressing full force to prosecute.  I realize that there is still a law on the books but it’s a 100 year old law that was enacted during prohibition because people were selling their votes for alcohol.  The prosecutor can use his discretion.

This is what is technically called News for the Sake of News.
