Jesse Helms also left us. Jesse was the consummate Old School Southern Senator, according to several obits.
Old School Southern Senator is polite-speak for ‘ancient racist fool who proposed unconstitutional legislation and longed for the good old days of slavery.’

No I live in south Georgia, that covers just about everyone. Down the road from where I live they reenact the cival war every year. Every Year I want to go down there and say “You Lost! Get Over it!”
I am originally from the north :)
