I ask you, is there any hope in the world?  It’s not like this is the first time this has happened.  Yes, I am in IT, but the ‘normal’ news is full of these stories too. This is a parallel to viruses… we all hear about them yet most of us do absolutely nothing to protect ourselves.  Things like not using the preview pane in email, not using or updating our antivirus, not patching our OS, or opening anything that’s sent to us.

I’m sorry I wasted your time.  We’re doomed.
