I saw a commercial the other night. This in itself isn’t too odd. The odd bit is that I stopped for a second to think about what I heard. This was my fatal mistake.
Pizza Hut claims to have tested out their pasta-to-go on New Yorkers, who loved it.
I (obviously) don’t get out much but I’ve been to a few Italian restaurants in New York. I think New York should file a class-action suit against Pizza Hut for defamation of character.
No, I haven’t tasted their pasta. But I’ve tasted their (alleged) pizza and that’s enough.

The pasta isn’t bad, but it’s priced like you were getting it in a fine Italian restaurant, complete with maitre d’ and sommelier, tablecloth and cloth napkins, with Billy Joel on the piano in the corner.
