YouTube - Syndicated Radio host Michael Reagan, adopted son of former president Ronald Reagan, publicly calls for 9/11 Truth Activist Mark Dice to be murdered.
“We ought to find the people who are doing this, take them out and shoot them. Really. You take them out, they are traitors to this country, and shoot them. You have a problem with that? Deal with it. You shoot them. You call them traitors, that’s what they are, and you shoot them dead. I’ll pay for the bullets.”
Isn’t it interesting that a conservative talk show host just `came out’ against freedom of speech? Aren’t conservatives supposed to be for limited government? This esteemed political commentator (fatuous windbag) is apparently for abolishment of the first amendment as well as government sponsored murder.
Pardon me - I have to go back and check my dictionary. There’s apparently something wrong with it. I had no idea definitions changed so much over the years. Do I need an update pack for it?
Oddly enough, the venerated Mr. Reagan is not the only conservative commentator (fatuous windbag) to take this stance. Glen Beck (fatuous windbag) called for the death penalty for anyone speaking out against the war in Iraq.
My, how the republican party has changed.
One more thing to consider: if anybody else had made the same comment about, say, any resident of a certain residence on Pennsylvania Avenue, he would make all sorts of new and interesting `friends’ in short order.
* In the interest of fairness, liberal commentators (when you can find them) are also fatuous windbags. They’re just slightly less fatuous. than the (allegedly) conservative ones.

Has anyone checked this guy for Alzheimer’s - I hear it can be passed over the dinner table. Perhaps its oxycontin intoxication, I hear that is the drug of choice for the right leaning blowhards.
The Republicans are no longer the party of Lincoln, they are the party of the wealthy, and the ‘duped into thinking they will someday be’ wealthy.
How the Christians got moved into the Republican party is another one of those things I will never understand - Christian - def. Christ-like, or follower of Republican - def. greedy rat bastard, lover of power, compassionless -
Most of the current problems this country faces are the result of the monetary policies of the Reagan administration, most of the current problems we face as a nation of divided people are due to the reign of the Ayatollah Falwell. They ruled at the same time - you do the math.

Traitors should be shot. I have no idea if this particular guy should be brought up on treason, but some democrats seem way to eager to support the enemy, way to eager to surrender. Forty years of the democrats “socializing” America is why were are in the condition we are now, not Reagan.

Martin - you have a good head on your shoulders. But you get way too caught up in the red herring of rep vs dem. They’re the same thing. Neither of them has your back (unless it’s over a barrel).
Oracle - Alzheimers, Oxycontin, organic insanity…. pick one.

Speaking as someone who considers himself a conservative. Keep in mind that these people don’t represent everyone who calls him or herself a conservative.
First and foremost though, I am a Christian. It’s high time we separated Christain and Conservative because modern conservatives (i.e., republicans) do not represent us. The republican party is simply the party that comes closest to some of our core beliefs. Well, the only party that stands a chance at actually getting elected anyway.
I can only speak from my experience, but most pentecostal Christians are way more conservative than most people would be comfortable with. I don’t condone murder in any form from anyone. Sin is sin regardless of your political party beliefs.
I won’t defend these talk show hosts, but coming from the “other” side of the fence. Do you really, honestly think that the democratic talking heads are any less hypocritical? There is plenty of blame on both sides. Our politicians are not representing most of our (the general populace) desires- period.

Hi Tom.
I’m right with you on the definition of conservative. I also think Christians should all be up in arms over what is allegedly representing them. I have met many Christians who truly practiced what they preached. Among them were people every bit as opposed to religion in gov’t (and the reverse) as I am.
Nice to meet another pentecostal. I work with one of your pastors and apparently quite a number of the flock. We have a very interesting knowledge exchange going on daily. It was very surprising to me to find an MIS department, normally a bastion of agnosticism or thereabouts, with two very religious guys among us. They keep trying to get me to go with them; one on Saturday and one on Sunday :)
Remember that here at ThermionicEmissions, we’re equal-opportunity bashers. I don’t care whether they’re republican or democratic… I maintain the same level of contempt for them all.
I’m what you might call a-religious. Fortunately I don’t have any silly people representing me in public :)
Thanks for the comments - stop by again.
