ron paul to end campaign, launches new effort

It’s not exactly a surprise but Ron Paul is calling the campaign quits.
Not that it will stop me or millions of others from voting for him. I’ll renounce my citizenship and move back to Mars before I vote for one of the other clowns.

Ron Paul really strikes me as an honest, caring non-politician who has genuine concern and love for his country. I also feel this way about Ross Perot, who I voted for in 2 elections. Too bad that neither candidate was “slick” enough for our celebrity-obsessed culture.
I’m not sure how the current 2 front runners managed to get there. Some combination of electorate stupidity and ballot tampering I suppose. But I have yet to meet one single person who will admit to voting for Obama or to enthusiastically supporting Mc Cain.
The best I can hope for would be Newt Gingrich in 2012. That is if there is still any semblance of Democracy left.
