As President Bush’s health chief, Tommy Thompson was criticized for not doing enough to help workers exposed to toxic debris from the Sept. 11 attacks at the World Trade Center.

Now, a company he leads has won a $11 million contract to treat some of those workers who responded to New York’s ground zero.

Wow, this guy made out on the front end AND the back end. It pays to know people…

This is so typical of the Bush 2 administration: while in government don’t believe it is a problem (why should you, it will only get ignored by high ups). Then support private enterprise by giving a government contract to your buddies to take care of the problem. (Because once the money can flows to private enterprise it now is a problem.)
