My colleague at work was troubleshooting a problem with Verizon DSL. It seemed to be on their end so he called Verizon [cue sinister music]. Apparently they wished him to call a different number so he asked to be transferred. They said they could not do that. I’m guessing he was a little miffed because the next thing out of his mouth was,
“You can’t transfer me? What do you mean you can’t transfer me? You’re the ($&#ing phone company. If you can’t transfer me, what can you do?”
