almost a gc rant

I met my buddy up at Guitar Center today.

Before you go off yelling that this is another GC rant, I have to tell you it isn’t.
Well, not traditionally.

My friend drives an SUV.
As we know, I hate SUVs. It’s not that I care how much they cost. It’s not that I care about the environment that these gas-guzzlers are eating alive (or that my car gets all of 16mpg). It’s simply that you can’t see through them.

When I become president (about thirty days before I become dead), the rules are that you can own as many SUVs as you like, but they have to be see-through.

My only complaint, aside from some of the assholes who drive them, is that you can’t see through, around, or past them. This makes driving even more of a hazard.

Friday I dropped a coworker at a restaurant on the way home. As I was leaving the parking lot, I noticed that I couldn’t see to my left to check for oncoming traffic. Why? Some idiot parked his SUV in the spot right next to the exit. I’d have to have a bigger SUV or be driving a fire truck to see over it. I could have wound up t-boned thanks to this brainless twit and his SUV.

I’m willing to compromise, though… it will have to be see-through and not be allowed to park on any corner space or anywhere else that would impede line of sight. In exchange for this, we will all agree not to shoot them, ok?

Now onto world peace.
