Raw milk is incredibly healthy, and those who are most warned against it, are the ones who should be drinking it. It is incredibly nutritive, and aids in healing those with disease and giving strength to the elderly, children, etc.
The dairy industry has actually started milk scares to try and get it out of public use, because it is a far superior product in flavor and nutritional value. As a child, we were able to get it at the local dairy, with no problem.
When I can, I get it directly from the farmer, but in states like Washington, you can buy it in the store. A good source of information on it, and where to find it is here: http://realmilk.com/why.html
As far as the absinthe goes, I actually met a guy on the Internet who made his own. He would get women who were down on their luck, and give them a place to stay. He would then get them addicted to absinthe, until they got absinthe poisoning, and were no longer functional…and then throw them out the door. Kind of like a weird serial killer, who never really gets to the killing part.
Horse meat…yummm.
Most of my collection are Lockergnome bloggers, but yeah, there are a few unusual ones there. Not unusual for me of course, as they are all up my alley in one way or another. By the way, the word ‘weird’ derives from the goddess Wyrd, and it was once considered that if you were weird/wyrd, you were balanced as a person. But of course many of our awesome words have become bastardized(there is another one), with the advent of invading religions.
Yes, I was allergic to milk myself, but drinking raw milk cured that. I now only indulge in raw cheese and raw milk products for the most part, but I can tolerate a little pasteurized product here and there. Pasteurized milk actually causes problems with calcium absorption, and leads to less bone density…so it is probably best you avoid it!
I put this blog up to post some interesting facts and data. I have no problem with you disagreeing; I just ask that you do so in a civil manner. Please consider commenting on a blog like being invited into somebody's house - you would not call your host names and behave like an infant. If you feel it's necessary, go elsewhere; your comments will be deleted.

sm: you have the most *interesting* collection of people….
I pride myself on some genuine weirdos but they’re bush league in comparison :)
Thanks.
Oh, as far as milk goes, I’m lactose intolerant. I prefer to just say I’m generally intolerant.
