I can’t connect to the internet with my laptop I brought in.
Go into a conference room and plug it in - you’ll hook right up.
[5 minutes later]
It says `server not found’.
Did you plug it in?
Yes, the battery was low.
You have to use one of these cables to plug it in.
Oh, I thought you had a WAN….
Do you mean wireless?
Yes.
The laptop has it but the building doesn’t. You have to plug it in to the wall to access the network
that’s why they call it a network cable
