My wife is on Disability.
To help save a few dollars, she’s looking into a Medicare substitute. She finally managed to get Aetna on the phone today to go over the specifics:
the plan covers meds, with copay, up to $2400.
After $2400, you pay EVERYTHING up to $3850.
After $3850, meds are covered with a 5% copay.
Are they friggin’ nuts?

Ok, I’m better now (almost).
Let me explain how this happened.
People are fed up with the skyrocketing cost of healthcare, and rightly so.
People are complaining to their gov’t.
Never ones to stay out of areas that aren’t theirs, the congresscritters jumped into knee-jerk reaction and passed worthless legislation to look like they are doing something.
We’ve already heard about older folks not being able to get their meds due to the horrid, complex system put in place by this legislation.
Now you have a financial picture.
I keep hearing we need a national healthcare system.
I keep saying we don’t NEED a national healthcare system because we are putting it in the care of the gov’t. When was the last time the gov’t ran a program quickly and efficiently?
Think, folks…..
