For those of you who check up woot as much as you can, you may have noticed a cheap graphics tablet on there for about 42 dollars with shipping. That is cheap for graphics tablets, and this is the perfect tablet for beginners. This is my first tablet, and I am questioning how I did Photoshop without one. I tried doing the same thing to the same picture two different times, once with the tablet, and once without. I took 45 seconds with the tablet and a little over 2 minutes without. And the tablet one looked so much better than the mouse one. I for one was shocked at the result. I am sure that there are some things that would be easier and faster with a mouse, but for what I did, tablet was best.

If you work in graphic arts, but don’t want to spend $400+ on something you may not like, I would suggest getting a cheap one like Woot had and using that, seeing how you like it! Mine is 8×6, and that is fine for me. And it is Mac/PC compatible!
