Microsoft Acknowledges Mozilla Exists!

Microsoft sent over a cake to the folks at Mozilla. It had a giant Internet Explorer icon on it, it actually went above the cake. Normally, sending a cake saying “congratulations on shipping” would be taken as a sign of people who really do want to congratulate you. But I don’t honestly believe this cake was all in good spirits. If Microsoft was really congratulatory, wouldn’t the cake have a Firefox logo on it, and say something like “Love, IE Team” or something similar? I think Microsoft wants people to start using Internet Explorer again, and that’s why they gave them a cake with the IE logo. It could be poisoned… but I doubt Microsoft is that evil.

Still, it is a nice gesture showing that Microsoft does in face believe that other web browsers exist. This shows they aren’t all living in their fictional bubble anymore. Maybe they will finally realize what Mozilla did right, and hopefully implement that into IE. Then everyone might go back into using them again. (doubt it)
