Yesterday morning I was lucky enough to be in the mall, during the launch of the big PlayStation game of the summer: Metal Gear Solid 4. I’ve wanted a PS3 for a while, but haven’t made the purchase due to the fact that they removed backwards compatibility. I have a lot of PS2 games and some, like Personal 3 FES, I haven’t played yet. However, now I’ll be able to play my old games and the new ones. My two gaming consoles are now the Nintendo Wii and the Sony PlayStation. The only game I have for my PS3 is now Metal Gear Solid 4, but I read about a Metal Gear collection. I have only played Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes for the Nintendo GameCube. I want to play Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3. After I complete Metal Gear Solid 4, I’ll start playing Metroid Prime 3: Corruption for the Nintendo Wii. Some early impressions of MGS4: I suck at games! I haven’t played an Action game for a while now and I kept getting spotted and killed in Metal Gear. I am going to take my time and learn the controls. Last night I played for about an hour and a half and I enjoyed it. The graphics are very well done and detailed and the voice acting in the Metal Gear series has always been impressive.
