Adblock Plus allows you to surf the internet without being bombarded by ads. It uses a free database of ad sites and addresses and blocks those only. It is also possible to allow ads to show on some sites but not others. It is very easy to disable it for whatever reason. Adblock plus is smart enough to know not to block flash videos from sites like YouTube.com.

Mouse Gestures

This extension allows you to map mouse gestures to browser actions. For example you could link a simple flick of the wrist to your back button. Then the next time you want to go back a page you can just flick your wrist instead of moving to the back button every time.
