I don’t talk about clients on my blog often, but I want to share a story about EnhanceScape, a service that offers homeowners the ability to find pre-screened, local landscape contractors.. EnhanceScape’s new Web site is a fantastic example of customer experience driving change in an organization. After listening to its customers, national landscape contractors, EnhanceScape began doing some major overhauls to its Web site. New content includes a photo gallery and an Articles & Resource section, which provides a wealth of educational information for homeowners including articles, do-it-yourself tips, tools and more. Based on customer feedback (and a little of our guidance on the SEO front), EnhanceScape was able to transform their site from a basic static transaction site to a full-blown landscaping resource site for homeowners. If more companies spent this much time and effort tailoring their Web site and business offering to customers, the world would be a much better (and more profitable) place.
