Quango Inc Quandary: Design and marketing agency or steelhead fishing guide service?

I must say I’m impressed.  I’ve partnered with dozens of agencies over the years, but none quite as special as Quango Inc., a design and marketing agency here in Portland.  After a few meetings with team members and a tour of their fine new offices a month or two ago, I was impressed.  Funny thing is, they weren’t even getting started in the “create a memorable impression” department.  Last week, I was a Quango guest at the Blazers Cavs game on the super-secret suite-like level where all the food is free.  It was like having all the best of the box suites without any of the drawbacks.  This week, Sean and Glenn took me on a guided drift boat fishing trip on the Oregon Coast near Tillamook.  We were on the hunt for Steelhead, and we weren’t disappointed.  After a few hours of floating through the stunning temperate rain forest and braving freezing rain, we hooked two Steelhead within 15 minutes.  Unfortunately, there were no more bites the remainder of the trip, but it was amazing to reel in a native fish (and let it go).  I can’t wait to see what’s next on the agenda.
