I’m proud to announce that my Portland-based search engine marketing (SEM) agency, Anvil Meda, Inc., continued with strong growth in 2007.  Anvil Media managed to increase revenues from search engine marketing (SEM) consulting services by 5o percent, with only one additional employee over last year.  A majority of the growth can be attributed to increased SEM budgets from existing clients for new services as well as new clients being added to the roster.  Many clients signed on for additional SEM services including: online reputation management (ORM), social media optimization (SMO) and SEM/SEO PR.  Anvil also added dozens of high profile companies to the SEM client roster in 2007, including ExpressJet, Flowerbud, InfoWorld, Lucy, Nautilus, prAna, SmartWool, Sterling Trucks, and Yesmail.  Additionally, the Anvil Media executives were invited to speak at SEM industry events, both nationally and internationally.  I look forward to a very productive and fruitful 2008 as Anvil Media further perfects the art and science of search engine marketing.
