SEM PR: Search Engine Marketing & Public Relations -The Dynamic Duo

I don’t typically talk about “work” on my blog, but feel obligated to talk about the chocolate & peanut butter combination of search engine marketing & public relations, known as SEM PR. I was reminded of this topic by an email I just received promoting an upcoming PR conference: TurnPROn. While I’m not able to attend, the content does appear to be timely and relevant.
While Anvil wasn’t invited to participate, it’s not because we’re not qualified. Anvil Media, my SEM firm, is one of the first to formalize an SEM PR service offering that meets the growing needs of corporations needing to manage their brands effectively. We’ve combined our deep SEM expertise with a seasoned marketing background to develop a unique SEM PR process.
Although the term SEM PR is relatively new (not to be confused with SEO PR), the discipline has been evolving for many years. I’ve actually written a few articles various aspects of SEM PR, including SEO PR, pay-per-click, online reputation management, but only recently have covered SEM PR with a two-part series. If you’re a PR or SEM professional, I suggest you jump on the SEM PR bandwagon if you haven’t already…there’s plenty of need out there.
