The world of search has been my life since 1996. I’ve built teams of search engine marketing (SEM) professionals at various agencies based in Portland, Oregon. I’m also President and co-founder of SEMpdx, an SEM professionals trade association and host of SearchFest. While Anvil Media, Inc., my SEM agency, pays the bills, I spend a good deal of my time giving back to the community. A few of my more recent ventures include pdxMindShare (a networking group and job list), SMART Gala (a charity fundraiser event spawned from my 10 year-old ezine) and my eMarketing Workshop I teach regularly at Portland State University. I appreciated you guest speaking in my eMarketing class at PSU. It was an extremely basic class until you came in and said someting useful. I bought a pass for Search Fest and then the teacher came in with free passes the next day. Anyway, thanks again.
