Tackling computer viruses has almost become a full time job. I have identified a new virus in the registry. This gobbly gook of data causes your video card to generate small and random black dots on your monitor. These randomly generated pixels will over the course of several hours make your monitor unreadable. Your monitor is not bad even though it appears to be failing. Your processor continues to generate cycles. CPU usage runs at a constant five percent. The registry string on my computer was as follows: bxY+lQ*zj@L%13RW0I!TSearchSettingBHO>1y*,x’a1u@48F%Qy]L`9. Fortunately, it can be removed. And it should be removed quickly. It constantly chews cycles from your processor and for those who still prefer the large CRT monitors it can generate excessive heat. Removal Procedure: (1) Run Trend Micro’s Hijack This to identify any files with no entries http://download.cnet.com/Trend-Micro-Hij… Do not remove it from the registry. (2) Run Combo fix from Bleeping Computer.Com http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix…. After this you should be back in business.
