Lightwave on Film

Light travels so fast that before now it was impossible to see the actual light waves in their smallest form.

The above video shows a light wave that occurs over a time span of 2.5 billionths of a millionth of a second long.  Im not sure about you but I do not keep track of time in any measurement less than a second.  For me a second is almost too short to measure.  Can you imagine the technology needed to view something that occurs over 2.5 billionth of a millionth of a second?  This should give you an idea of how quickly light is able to travel.  However, even with this super speed it still takes years for lights from distant stars to reach our eyes on Earth.
