Buying a refurbished TV, computer, iPod or other electronic is something a lot of people avoid. However, buying refurbished can save the user a lot of money. Here are five reasons to buy refurbished/reconditioned.

1. You know that the item you are buying is going to work. Refurbished items are checked for defects, repaired and then checked again.
2. Most manufacturers will add some sort of limited warranty to a refurbished item to help ensure you that the product that you are getting is not any less than what they are selling to everyone else.
