Hewlett-Packard Finally Got My Replacement Laptop Delivered

35 days or 84 hours or 50,400 minutes later, my issues with Hewlett-Packard are resolved. After hours on the phone, countless people spoken to, throughout numerous countries, my new dv6000 arrived this morning.
This took way too long to get resolved, as the repair was supposed to take seven days. After three weeks and a complaint to the BBB, HP finally caved in and offered to replace the laptop. I got some perks in the new laptop as well — including MS Office 2007, ear bud headphones and a second battery. HP even messed up and put Vista Home Premium instead of Business on the laptop. To correct the error, they sent me a $200 dollar upgrade to Vista Business.
I am happy with how the issue turned out, and that the issue is resolved finally.

Your case is very interesting, I am having a terrible time with HP support aswell. The system broke down after 3 weeks and has been to the repair centre twice already. Both times it has been returned with the same problem, it freezes when used on battery power.
I now have a case manager assigned to me however I just called him and the voice mailbox was full! You can read about my experiences at my blog at http://dv6607nr.blogspot.com/
