Hewlett-Packard - Where is My Laptop?

“Hewlett-Packard is currently trying to get in touch with you regarding the current status of your order. If we have been unable to reach you, please call us at the customer service phone number listed in the Contact HP section at your earliest convenience.”

I see this message on Saturday while I am studying in the library. I do not feel like calling the normal customer service line, because there is a 90% chance that I will get someone who does not speak English, and I will be on the phone for hours. I wait until Monday morning, and give my case manager a phone call. Guess what…Richard isn’t around. However the gentleman that I have been talking to has sent him an instant message, so Richard can call me back.

So now I am in the same position. HP has been trying to contact me, however my phone has not rang. I called them at my earliest convenience and once again I am waiting for them to call me back.

My laptop is supposed to be here tomorrow, however after the email I got on Thursday talking about a “possible delay”, my doubts are high. If HP can get it here tomorrow, all the power to them. If not — that is just another way in which they have let me down as a customer.

At least I am finally talking to someone who lives in the United States, and has some sort of hierarchal power to get something done.
