Another HP Update

Two days ago, I posted an update on my issues with HP. I have yet another update, and I must say that it is a good update.

Yesterday, I spent an hour on the phone trying to get in touch of someone who could tell me why my order was canceled after the packaging box was shipped out. No one knew why, and I was told that the “Case Manager” would know. He was supposed to call me today (11/28), however I have been hearing that for a week. Still no phone call from him.

I finally got in touch with a Customer Service Supervisor named Roger. While he was a little sarcastic with me at first, he finally realized that I was angry, upset and frustrated. He had his team work on getting ahold of the shipping center to get me a second box shipped out. The first box could no longer be used because the order was canceled, and Fed Ex would not pick it up.

Luckily, HP got this new box shipped out at 11:49pm mountain time, and delivered to my by noon on the 28th. Today, I got a follow up from Roger, who wanted to make sure that I had gotten the box, and everything was going well.

Now that I have the box, I can send my laptop into HP for repair. I only hope it does not take this long to get it back.

HP is still on my “bad” list, but if they get my laptop back to me fairly quickly I will be happy.

Make sure you call them on a weekly basis or they will take forever getting your laptop back to you. HP tends to lose laptops like they lost your first shipping box.

I’ll be calling daily =)

Any updates as to what they can do to fix it?

Sent it in on Friday — They will get it 12/3
