“MIAMI — Washington Redskins safety Sean Taylor died early Tuesday, a day after the Pro Bowl player was shot at home by what police say was an intruder. He was 24.Family friend Richard Sharpstein said Taylor’s father told him the news about 5:30 a.m.” (Link)

Sean Taylor had been having difficulties with intrusion over the last few days. Eight days ago an intruder was reported inside of his house. The police were still investigating the original intrusion. The night of the shooting Taylor and his girlfriend were awaken by loud noises. A person broke through the bedroom door and fired two shots. Neither Taylor’s girlfriend or daughter were injured in the attack. At this time it is unknown if the person who broke into the house eight days ago was the same person who shot Taylor.

It is known that a good man lost his life, and he will be missed by family, friends and fans. Rest in Peace.
