I’ve Discovered the Library!

Studying is a way of life for me, and for most college students. Usually when I study, I am on my couch or at my desk with my textbook on my coffee table. Usually the TV is on, or someone is playing xbox/ps2/N64. However, tonight I decided to try out a new method to studying. I packed my bags and headed for the library. Yes, I still have my laptop with me, however there is a LOT less distractions at the library. For one, everyone is doing some sort of school work (except the guy on his phone two tables down). And for two, I can’t get talked into playing a round of Guitar Hero III (that actually ends up being two hours long). It is nice to have a huge table to spread out my text book, answer book, notes, ipod and index cards. At home, I have a small coffee table that usually has a lot of junk on it, and half of my stuff ends up either piled on top of each other, or on the floor. Space is a good thing.

It is quite a shame that it took me until my sophomore year in college to finally find a place to study. Unfortunately I will need a new place once the time for finals comes near. It seems everyone goes to the library around finals time (the vast knowledge just flows into your brain here).

I only wish there was a laptop charging area near my table (all those tables were taken first). Oh well, tomorrow is another day, and I will claim the better tables!

Back to the books,

-Justin (or J-Wahl as my roommate calls me)
