Zune or iPod?

What does everyone here think of the Zune? I bought one just after launch and my feelings have been a little mixed. I love the Wi-Fi, but hate that even a song I made myself and hold all rights to can still only be played three times after being shared.
But I keep finding myself using it over the iPod. The screen overshadows all of my complaints.

I bought a Sansa e250 by SanDisk because it doesn’t have any of the hassles of the Zune or iPod. But I had been considering the Zune over the iPod. iPods are overpriced because they are a status symbol.
