*Dear Sporkula God, I would like to thank you for making such a wonderful utensil for us humans to use. Thank you for Taco Bell. And whatever other places use sporks. AMEN.*

Hello, jeber.

You may have seen that Sharp Brains recently reviewed the brain fitness product market to see which products had the scientific credentials to back up their claims. They gave Lumosity 2 out of 10...

Only one study has shown a training transfer to fluid intelligence -- Susanne Jaeggi and Martin Buschkuehl's study on Improving Fluid Intelligence by Training Working Memory (PNAS April 2008) recorded increases in mental agility (fluid intelligence) of more than 40% with less than 20 days of focused brain training.

I was so impressed that I contacted the research team and developed a software program using the same method. I've been using the training myself, of course, and the results are far from subtle. I can now tackle, and complete!, the Saturday crossword puzzle, for instance, when before I used to get stuck on Thursday.

I truthfully have a great interest in sporks. They inspire me to be the best I can, I wish I was a spork sometimes... They have such a wonderful life. And I also agree that they are a great gift from the gods, and some of the people don't deserve the gracious sporks in their lives, only the ones who warship them deserve them. They are trully wonderful and I would like to make an acknowledgement to the original spoon and fork that got togethor and made... THE SPORK! And I'd Also like to thank the baby sporks for being so kind to share their knowledge of sporkiness with the world, so now, we are blessed with sporks... thank you.

John Hanke poses the interesting question "What is the GeoWeb?". If this question intrigues you then checkout the GeoWeb 2007 conference (http://www.geoweb.org) being held in Vancouver, July 23-27th, 2007. It is an international meeting focused on the business, technical and social implications of the convergence of GI and the web. People from more than 20 different countries attended GeoWeb 2006.
