Found my Aiptek

  • No Related Post

I came across my Aiptek HyperPen USB digital tablet today and was able to download the drivers for XP (I had previously run it under 98SE). With it installed, I now have a much better input device for use with Photoshop and Paint.net. I even found a way to use my Aiptek in Linux.  Is that cool or what?  Now I don’t have any excuse for not getting more creative.

I can’t draw for beans (which is why one of my majors in college was drafting, the non-artist’s way to be artistic) but I’d like to create a handwriting font. Actually I print, I don’t write cursively. Another hangover from drafting. Between Chris’ vast repository of cool links and Google, I hope to find a way to use the software I already have to create a personal font for emails, blog entries, etc.
