It should come as no surprise that two thirds of US adults admit to being in the dark about world politics and only a third consider themselves knowledgeable about US politics. A recent poll has provided these results. Almost sixty percent of those asked said they do not like learning about other countries’ political issues. That would be great if we as Americans were not affected by other countries policies.
We can at least be sure of the idiom we get what we ask for.

How funny that, as I read your article, there is a Google ad for getting your news from an e-mail from the right-wing darling, Ann Coulter. I hope no one takes advantage of this, as she has her head so far in the sand she may never surface.
On the other hand, Ann coulter doesn’t like learning about other countries’ political issues either. She is happy in her nescience. MIght just be a perfect fit.
