Just read that Ted Nugent has seriously entertained the thought of running for Governor of Michigan. Interesting concept; I am still trying to digest it. As many probably know, Ted Nugent is a big advocate of Hunting and Gun rights. I remember seeing a TV show or two with him hunting. What I don’t remember that well are his rocker days (which still continue at 70 shows per year).
Ted is an unabashed conservative — couple this with hard rock lifestyle and you have a pretty interesting character. I suppose if Terminator and Jesse “The Body” can do it anybody can.

As a fan of Ted Nugent for many years, I’m not sure he resides in Michigan any longer. Last news I heard was he had moved for the health of his wife and kids. The last time I saw him in concert, I spoke to him before the concert and he was living in the dry climate of western Texas.
As for political aspirations, he might as well run, he certainly could do no worse than many of the bozos who are ‘politically trained’. At least with Nugent, as with Ventura, what you see is what you get. I don’t agree with all that he does, but I know him to be a person who has no problem with veracity.
On the lighter side, I wonder if Ted has ever been in a business suit.
