I Want An Island

What is up with man made islands? I read today that they are thinking of building an island off Tel Aviv in Israel to house an International Airport! The most famous man made island is probably in Dubai what a sight!
When you consider that at least two thirds of the earth is covered in water, I guess it makes sense. It would seem likely that there is a whole world to discover in our oceans. My only problem with these islands is that we probably need bridges to get to them. Maybe we should demolish all of the stadiums and use the result for fill to build a few islands!
