Jack Hamr Reports:  Caucus…  We came, We stood in little groups, We went home!

    Congratulations to the winners!  One down and an entire country to go.  But in retrospect, what has the events of last night shown us?  That the HuckaBOOM really exists?  Oh yeah, I think it does.  That Hillary hasn’t been told she didn’t win yet?  Maybe she doesn’t understand the word “lose”…  Bill had an issue defining some small words.  Or maybe we learned that Ron Paul’s online success is nothing more than the clever manipulation that we were told it was?  Whatever the effect of Iowa on the rest of the country, it’s far from over.  N.H. is now on our heels and is a totally different beast.  The numbers are set, but they are set to change.  Can Huckabee and Obama retain the lead they have now.  John Edwards hopes not, he’s in second for the democrats now and seems to see bright lights at the end of his tunnel.  For his sake, I hope it’s not Hillary’s train he sees.

    Whatever he’s looking at, the only part of Obama he’s going to see are his tail lights.  At least that’s my prediction.  With a long record of being a very conservative state, it’s odd that Obama drew the numbers he did in Iowa, and it will be smooth sailing for him if this trend continues.

    Lastly, for fear of being boycotted and beaten in an alley way, I must talk about Mr. Paul.  Larry King believes that in-spite of it all, Ron Paul did fairly well, even if he only managed fifth place.  He did beat Rudy…  And he has went from an average 2% in the scientific polls to 10% in a matter of a week.  With N.H. being a state where he has focused much of his attention, things may start looking up for his campaign.  What I can’t figure out is how Fred Thompson came out on top of Ron, and all I can think is that maybe Iowans don’t have the Internet or something.  In any case, Fred doesn’t have the finances to do much, whereas Ron Paul is sitting pretty with over 20 million.  I believe that if Ron doesn’t get the nomination, he will take his money and run Independent….  Well, more power to him, I hope he does.  But he’s not out of the running, and may get the nomination yet.  You RP revolutionaries keep the faith.  Iowa’s Huck lovin’ lemming like evangelical sheeple certainly did….  Oops, did I say that?
