Despite the fact that the iPhone is tearing things up, Android has managed to maintain a larger market share. But when it comes to apps, both mobile platforms require some level of skill to develop applications for them.

The iPhone has basically left users to their own devices when it comes to development. If you have the skills, then you’re in good shape. But if you think there are going to be any magic tools that will do it for you, well, good luck with that.

Back on the Android front, it looks like there is now an app creator solution that is expected to shake things up. While I am not sure how effective this concept will be, the fact of the matter is that Android appears to be the first one to offer app development made easy. Bundle this with an already growing market share, and I can only surmise this will work to push Android ahead of the game even further.
