Verizon Does The Android Dance

I am, generally speaking, a fan of many things Verizon. FiOS destroys cable Internet on every level, and its mobile service own AT&T’s hands down with reliability based on my own usage and from what I have heard from others.

Currently, we have both Verizon and AT&T phones. The short story is that both of our AT&T phones are iPhones and while they are just fine to use, the network has turned me off so many times I could scream. So I am quite open to seeing what comes of Verizon’s soon to be Android offerings. Honestly, I would welcome using an Android phone assuming the touch screen is not something that needs to be recalibrated every so often.

Well today, I found out that my dream of having a GOOD mobile platform option besides BlackBerry on Verizon is finally here. Now assuming the hardware can stand up on its own, I might  be making a switch here one day. Really depends on the quality of the phone being offered I guess though. Will check back soon to see if this news is half as promising as it sounds on the surface.
