Contest Coming Of Your Choosing
So I have a special give away coming up that involves one of the best magazine subscription giveaways I have seen in a very long time, but yet I find myself in a bit of a pickle. I have been tasked with setting a contest in which I have a couple of great give-aways to share. Problem is, no matter how hard I try, I find myself coming up a bit short on which contest idea to try!
Here is where you come in. I need you each to give me some feedback on a contest that would most appeal to you. Obviously the contest relates to magazine subscription giveaways, so I am looking for some clever ideas for a magazine themed contest to hold here at Lockergnome!
Some of my own ideas include:
- History related magazine trivia.
- Your favorite magazine and why it is.
- A random drawing.

Send in a scan of the oddest / oldest / most peculiar advertisement from a magazine with a similar theme to the ones your giving away (IE: The prize is an IT magazine subscription, the winning scan sent in could be of a 10MB Hard drive advertisement with the drive selling for $3000, or a blindingly fast 1200 baud modem for $499, etc). Have a competition to vote for the winner or just choose the oddest / oldest / most peculiar.
