Your Wi-Fi Is Killing You - Maybe

So which is it? Is Wi-Fi honestly having an effect on people or is it just something else that some folks have attributed to Wi-Fi? As this article has been so kind as to point out, the speculation rages on. Despite people leaving dire comments on blogs and others being able to show strange symptoms that doctors are unable to diagnose, only to have the symptoms seemingly worsen when around various forms of EM (electro-magnetic) energy, I believe no one at this point really has all of the answers.
The above linked article also goes on to point out that if people are truly affected in a negative way to Wi-Fi, then clearly living in a modern society must translate into a living hell then. Because Wi-Fi is just the tip of the iceberg. Nearly everything in our modern society gives off various forms of EM, so unless mobile phones to the TV set are causing an individual problems with medical symptoms, it might be a tough sell to say that Wi-Fi is causing you sustainable harm.
In fairness however, it is worth pointing out that I have not seen evidence that this Wi-Fi issue is bunk, either. Meaning we do not yet have a full understanding of the universe despite our desire to believe that are we are pretty in tune with how things work. So who knows…

I keep my cell phone hanging from my pocket, in hopes that it will render me sterile :)
Funny… others have expressed the same hope.

Hmm, could be onto something there. A geeky man’s birth control perhaps?

This sort of thing has been going around/discussed for decades. Radiation from high-voltage power lines, cell-phones, wi-fi? As an engineer, specializing in RF (radio frequencies), there just isn’t a problem…(Now, I wouldn’t put my wireless router’s antenna up my nose…) The equations to determine effective radiated power (e.r.p.) are quite simple - do the math. Wi-fi devices are incredibly low power (transmitters) to begin with, and when you add inefficient (small) antennas to the mix, there isn’t much “there”. Please also remember that the amount of power radiated falls off as the SQUARE of distance: it’s not a linear relationship. (In simpler terms, the farther away you get from a radiating source (antenna), the less RF will be seen by a receiver. More specifically: The amount of RF (available) drops like a stone the farther away you get.) I worry more about standing too close to the microwave because the door seal isn’t adequate ;-)

I’d be more concerned with the large amount of non-visual radiation spewing from the sun.

Are they bringing back the cancer from cell phones and stuff thing?
I dont think wifi is problem because the transmitter is maybe a milliwat?
and your microwave is 1000watts
If you should worry about em rad theres satolites above you, tv and radio transmitters, phones
we live fine so it shouldnt be a problem
