Voicefield Or Minefield?

I have been looking at VoiceField since the beginning of today, trying to get an idea of what it is all about. One article I found described it as a Twitter like thing, sort of. And on the surface, it is intriguing. Call a phone number and use it as your own personal soapbox from which to share your thoughts and opinions with others. But where I find it lacks, however, is in trying to gather the spoken data from others.

Basically you are presented with tags, different topics — what have you. Then you can browse around listening to what different people have to say. This sounds like fun initially, but in practice, not so much.

Personally I see the addition of a description of what each audio blurb is about, being critical for any long term success of VoiceField. I realize that this might seem to take away from the Twitter quality aspect, but I cannot see it succeeding otherwise.
