Taking Email Back A Few Generations With SunnyGram

I came across this today totally by accident. SunnyGram, not to be confused with HoneyGrams, is a way to make email more accessible for those who are just not technology people. Now for geeks like us, we might be inclined to think that everyone is able to step up and get into the daily routine of using email. The truth of the matter is that this is not always true. Some folks just deal better with ink.
Speaking of ink, my own grandmother… who happens to be well into her 90s, has one of these contraptions from Presto. So long as the recipient is in a state of mind to understand just how this thing works, the Presto is actually pretty cool. The downside, however, is that it is rather overkill for most people looking for a paper alternative to getting their kids to write to them without having to leave the lazy comfort of using email.
This brings me back to SunnyGram, which, to be totally honest, I see as vastly more beneficial. After all, what a better way to let someone know you are thinking of them than to drop something off in the mail? And if email is your bag, then I see SunnyGram as the best of both worlds.
