Printing PowerPoint Presentations

Many people, including myself, still prefer to review hard copies of presentations, as opposed to reading it on the computer. With this in mind, when you are delivering a presentation, you may want to make hard copies available for your audience.
If you decide to make printed copies of your presentation for audiences members, you have the option of printing them in the form of handouts. By doing so, you can increase the number of slides that are printed on a page (two, three, four, six or nine slides on a page) and in turn, save on both printer ink and paper. In addition, the slides include lines beside them for audience members to take notes.
To print your presentation as handouts in PowerPoint 2007:
- Open your presentations.
- Click the Microsoft Office Button.
- Click the arrow beside Print and click Print Preview.
- Click the arrow under Print What within the Page Setup group.
- Select the handout layout you want from the available options. I highly recommend choosing the Handouts (3 Slides Per Page) option because it includes lines beside each slide for taking notes.
- Click OK.
Alternatively, if your presentation includes speaking notes that you want to provide to audience members, you can print the notes, along with your slides.
To print your notes in PowerPoint 2007:
- Open your presentation.
- Click the Microsoft Office Button.
- Click the Arrow beside Print and click Print Preview.
- In the Page Setup group, click the arrow under the Print what box and click Notes Pages.
- Click Print.

It may be a cost-consuming way and would be against environment protection.

Trying to print Notes Pages, but when I do, the slide itself “disappears”.
Any advice? Would like to have my notes and the slides in front of me so I don’t lose my place in the presentation!
