Wii Really Love This Console!

Despite not really being into video games anymore, I have to admit the Wii my wife received for her birthday is AWESOME! Clearly blew my gift to her out of the water, that is for sure. But on the bright side, it also provides us a chance to “box” one another without it being considered abuse!
Normally having my wife wiping the floor with me would be a bad thing, but the boxing game that came with the Wii gives her the motivation she needs to provide me with a proper beat-down without fear of waking the neighbors. Best of all, both of us end up with quite the workout — though it should not be considered a replacement for outside activities.
No question about it: I am going to go on record by saying that for non-gamers, the Wii is a real hit. And this is being said as we have barely scratched the surface of what this console is capable of. At this point, looking ahead to the weekend, we are trying to think of games that might fit our needs. I am leaning more with with this game myself:
…while my wife is interested in a few other titles. At the end of the day, it’s her Wii… so I might have to do some negotiating to get any time with the titles I might want. Thankfully though, it’s a multi-player console.

My husband got me Wii Fit because I’ve suffered from Fibromyalgia for 15 years and have become quite deconditioned. I’ve tried other things but just didn’t work. It would cause a relapse or be boring. But this really worked. And I didn’t have to do a lot to get a benefit. In fact I’ve been slowly ramping up since January and am able to walk up a flight of stairs - which is big for me. You have to take it gradual, but I’m very impressed. It keeps my attention and many of the exercises take as little as 1 minute.
