The only one of these groups that has seemed to make any progress against spam is Knujon. This outfit has been hitting the spammer websites and the registration for those websites.. When you really think about it, the spammer must clearly identify their websites if they are to make any money!!! In particular I like what Knujon has done in terms of campaigning for tighter controls on the Registrars from ICANN. The statistics that Knujon has gathered show that a small group of these Registrars have clearly strayed beyond the guidelines in offering a safe haven for spammers. In fact some of the Registrars may be owned by spammers. Clearly Knujon needs our support to continue this fight! I use SpamCop, CastleCops, AntiPhishing Group, and Knujon for my spam reporting.
