Frankly, this reminds me of using Linux software repositories for keeping software up to date on another *nix platform. Wild as it may seem, it I can see OS X making improvements that I have had for a long time elsewhere. But that is neither here nor there I suppose. Moving on.
The idea is simple enough — provide Google with a way to keep Google apps up to date for its Mac using fans. What I think is really interesting is that it has the ability to update even kernel level stuff. Honestly not sure I want Google doing anything at that level, even in theory, but that is just me.
Overall, this update software sounds rather compelling. And with that in mind, here is a video to get you started in better understanding just how it works.
