If you ask me, It looks messy. The interactive part looks cool; but you gotta remember: we've been able to "interact" on a highly integrated level via programs (like NetMeeting, and so forth) for over ten years now, and nobody gives a rat. Too complicated, I suppose. And 3D desktops are only cool for about 30 seconds, until you figure out that you have to buy another $1000 worth of hardware to get it to run acceptably.

But who knows? I guess if you can make your browser look like a giant IPhone, then maybe you've got a winner on your hands!

I agree that basic browsing as it currently is will suffice for a while. When Firefox tabbed browsing hit, it was well received since the basic layout was untouched. When Microsoft release IE7, I heard a lot of negatives because the basic functions were now on the right, and below where they were in 6.x (the Home button, specifically was targted as a negative by most of my clients)

People will adapt and accept, as they all ways have - over time. I would just have a single request of the new browser - Make it available for Linux and Mac first.

‘GREAT’ article!!! Will want to follow this one to a conclusion. Would need to know ‘Minimal Hardware’ required plus (3D Windows – 32 or 64 bit OS, Etc.) and ‘What kind of Mouse Device ‘Jill’ is using?’ For me, it’s the First ‘Really Interesting’ concept on Internet Browsing in a while. Tried Fire Fox, Mozilla, Opera and always come back to the BIG GUY, IE-7. As always, thanks Matt for some real insight.

This new Internet browser is amazing. Wonder what the cost and development was. Simply one of the best ideas sense digital Tv came out. To put this product above any other software products would be and understatement.

In my eyes I certainly do believe something in that nature "Auros" will be available in the upcoming years. Great job..
