When Refurbs Go Wrong

Maybe I am just old fashioned, butthis is inexcusable as far as I am concerned. Why in the world would anyone begin selling refurbished iPhones and not have the common sense to prevent real problems for the past user as to simply erase the previous user’s data BEFORE selling the refurbed mobile device?

Now this is not to say that one could not, if they so chose, erase the data from their iPhone before turning it over to be resold, but any means of doing this is not readily available for the masses based on my understanding.

In the meantime, I am afraid that today’s users will simply have to wait for a ready to roll third party utility or if all else fails, resolve themselves to erasing data the old fashioned way - erase everything manually.
